Hello Friends, I'm posting a quick and simple canvas background tutorial for you. Give it a go and let me know what you've created so that I might drop by and visit you.
Grab a 5x7 canvas and let's get started.
I'll be posting a shabby chic 5 x 7 canvas on April 27th with some yummy Blue Fern Studios chipboard. Drop by and see if it's something you would like to try too.
Thanks for stopping by.

I know what...(created for The Color Room)
Have you ever known a person who possesses so many wonderful qualities that they truly are beautiful? I'm fortunate to know such a person. She's an amazing talented woman with so many wonderful qualities, and she shares her wealth of die cuts with me too. How lucky am I? :) Lydell's sketch for the May Special Edition inspired me to create this page, and I knew the minute I viewed it that I was going to work it. It was so magical how once I started, it kind of finished itself, but then I think it felt that way because the person I scrapped it for is magical herself.
I so love using molding paste to give a page some texture and interest, and I used the lightest colors in the Special Edition Palette to help me set the tone. I also used Mistra Hoolahan's rose tutorial using Donna Salander's Rose die cut for the larger roses in the Prima Nature/Fairy paper line collection. Oh, you must give this sketch and try and see what wonderful magical powers it gives your page.
Thanks for looking.
