More alchemy work....

It's been a
very creative week
for me!
I've been answering the knock of inspiration
and this sketch at Scrappolis called out to be worked on. I adored the
circle and paint drop elements in the sketch.

Here's some close ups to share with you:

Close up of the Blue Fern Studios chipboard piece.

And one more close up to inspire you to work this sketch too!

You can find Scrappolis here.

Here's the sketch for you to ponder over:

Excuse my lack of the language, however, I was not sure which of the two following badges I was to post in my blog.

Sketchabilities #133 has an awesome mixed media sketch!

When inspiration comes a knocking,
you have to answer!

Sketchabilities #133
has inspired
me to answer her
knock
with this
monochromatic
layout.

I applied my recent small card technique on a much larger scale which rendered these results. I adore the yummy alchemy of watercolors, micro beads, dry wall tape, tissue paper and glitter.

Some more close ups to share with you:

Now, it's your turn to answer inspiration's call and you have a few more days to do so at Sketchabilites here.

How could one not be inspired to work with this sketch #133?

Sunny in California...another small card

Struggling
finding
the
time
to commit
to a large
project,
however,
I'm enjoying
the
creative process
in
crafting small
cards.

Some close-up of the details.

I'm becoming an alchemist by mixing micro beads, glass glitter, and fine glitters in various color combination with this series of cards where I use the same technique but using different colors and embellies.

Hmmm...which color should I create with next?

Thank you for dropping by.  Once I hone down on the technique, I'll be happy to share it with you.

Hello There....another small card

In the mood
to use my
supplies and
create.

Feels good to bet my hands inky and use my supplies
after a long absence.

Thanks for dropping by.

Winter's Muse

I found
a lovely
challenge site
that has
inspired me
to create
a
Winter's
Muse .

The challenge was to create something with a winter theme, predominately blue, some ribbon
and some medium.  You can find the challenge here at Scrap and Skill. Share some love with the ladies there when you visit. :)

I moistened the front of the cardstock with water and scrunched it up in my hands to get a worn tattered look, then when it was dry, it was laid on some puddles of water mist and blue mists and dried with a heat gun. Some stamping, more mist, and then a stencil and molding paste finished off the background work.  Thank you for visiting.

Here are some close ups:
