Card designed with the Ombre Dreams Paper Collection and Blue Fern Studios Chipboard too.

Here's that sweet little card I promised you.  I adored the colors of orchid, lilac and yellow in the Juliana's Dream paper from Blue Fern Studios new paper collection, "Ombre Dreams."  Some light stamping so as not to over power the delicate design of the paper was applied on top of the card; and I  added some lacey bits and sewing too to add some texture.

These daisies are elements from the Jeweled Page Dangle chipboard (the dangle portion is in the picture below).  Aren't they sweet?  White paint was applied on top of the chipboard, followed by a charcoal gray water color pencil to add an inner petal, then fill in the center of the inner petal with a little dab of colored mist using a very small brush.  Don't worry if you over do it or make a mistake, simply start over with white paint and start again. (I speak from experience...LOL.)

Here's the exquisite part of the whole dangle piece.  The piece itself is very small and at first I was tempted to just paint it white and leave it that way because it looked just fine that way too.  But, no, my inner voice whispered, "embellish, embellish, embellish," and so I did.  Again, lightly trace the pattern of the chipboard design with a watercolor pencil, highlight some of the sides with some yummy Glimmer Glam paint.  Add some molding paste on top of the bauble portion to add some dimension, and apply three values of the same color mist for shading and interest.  Give it a try, I think you will be happy with the results.

Thanks so much for taking a peek. Until the next time.....happy creating to you.
