Hello everyone! I created this little matchbox sewing kit from the Miss Taylor chipboard collection from Blue Fern Studios. They are they cutest chippies. I disembled a medium sized matchbox and created a template. Those goregous green tone on tone papers from Finnabair's Sunrise Sunset Prima paper collection were calling out to be used from my stash. But first, I painted up the chipboard with some Inka Gold and left some of the chipboard exposed naturally and then applied a light mist of Verdigris from Shimmerz. Thin strands of ribbon were wound around the thread spool to add more color and texture. And, I'm also loving my Memorby Box die purchases from the C'est Magnifique Store and I used that die to fill in some empty space and create a little movement. The Prima sewing machine stamp was the perfect embellishment too. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look, and I hope I have inspired you to search for one of the medium sized matchboxes in your house to use as a template to create your own little sewing kit with some Miss Taylor chipboard collection from Blue Fern Studios.
