My Muse (Featured at C'est Magnifique Sketch Challenge)

I've been out of sync for quite awhile and needed a little jump start to warm me up to get me scrapping again. It warmed my heart when I saw Nadia's (Nadia Cannizzo) sketch on the C'est Magnifique blog and it called out to me to scrap it. One of the elements I love about Nadia's sketches is that she incorporates layers in them and this one immediately perked me up and got my scrapping juices flowing again. Here's what I created using the rest of my stash of My Mind's Eye (Follow My Heart ) collection and Rhonna Designs (Kiss Me Border Kit). Once Upon a Sketch has done it again! This time, they've inspired me to remember Grandma Ruth. When I was younger and naive, I thought time would stand still, and I'd have time to visit Grandma Ruth and ask her in her own words to tell me about her life, her struggles, her joys and her being unlucky in love. I missed the opportunity to know her as a person and in scrapping this page, I asked others of what they knew of her. For those of you who still have someone in your life that you'd like to know more about, call them, make a date to meet with them one on one, because time waits for no one.
