This was so much fun to create using the pretty papers from the September Kit.
The background was created by tearing long horizontal pieces of the Riddersholm papers and alternating each pattern paper strip, lace from the kit, and masking tape and then gluing them down. Once the strips dried, a soggy wet tea bag was used sporadically on the paper to age the papers slightly and to meld them together. Once the tea dried on the paper, a script and doily stamp was placed sporadically on the pattern papers.

There's a New Sketch Artist in Town
Psst…I found a new sketch artist! Check out a few of the sample sketches I attached above. Don’t they get your scrapping mojo churning? They did mine. Can you see a romantic or vintage Prima collection used with some of these sketches? Or maybe you want to try a mixed-media layout but don’t know where to start. Design Honey has captured it all for us with her eye for details and compositions. These are truly inspirational and you’ll be seeing me use them on future pages. See more of Design Honey's sketches on her blog. She'll be posting more daily, so become a follower of hers so you don't miss out on any of these amazing sketches.
